Mrs. Hand is a graduate of Samson High School.  She began her college education at Enterprise Junior College and obtained her associates degree. Following that, she attended Troy university in Troy, AL where she then obtained her Bachelors in Education. She has worked at Samson Elementary school as a 6^th grade teacher, K-12 Instructional Coach, and 5^th grade teacher. She obtained her Masters in Instructional leadership through the University of West Alabama in 2016. She was hired as Samson Middle Schools Principal in 2018. She resides in Samson AL with her husband and daughter. Her daughter attends school at Samson Elementary and, as a family, they are anticipating the exciting adventures that life holds for them in the upcoming future. Mrs. Hand enjoys attending all events that our students participate in and that is typically how she spends her time away from the regular school day. Mrs. Hand is going in to her fifth year as the principal at Samson Middle School and eagerly anticipates the start of the 2022-2023 school year!
