Bio

I am happy and blessed to be part of the faculty and staff of Geneva County High School. I am a "transplant" to Hartford from Slocomb, but I am excited to be entering my fourth year of being a GeCo Bulldog. This is my twenty-second year in education, and my fourth year as a Library Media Specialist.

I have been married to my husband William for thirty-one years, and we have two wonderful grown children who are pursuing their dreams and chosen careers; a son (and daughter-in-law) in Stevenville, Texas, and a daughter (and son-in-law) in Mobile, Alabama.

In my free time, I enjoy visiting my children, spending time with my family, shopping, and crafting.

It is my goal as the Library Media Specialist to create and maintain a welcoming and exciting library environment, and to ensure that students have access to library materials that promote an appreciation for reading and information literacy.
