Biography: 

I have been teaching for nineteen years.  I taught 3rd Grade for eight years at Holly Hill Elementary School in Enterprise, Alabama.  I left Enterprise to return home to Samson.  I grew up here and graduated from Samson High School. 

     I taught writing for one year at Samson Elementary School.  I spent the next three years teaching 2nd Grade.  I moved with the 6th Grade to the middle school in 2010 where I teach 6th and 7th Grade Math.  I am Highly Qualified in all subject areas in grades 1 - 6, in Math grades 1 - 8, and in Reading grades K - 12. 

     I absolutely love watching my students' faces when they grasp a new concept.  I want my students to leave my classroom with the desire to be better than they were when they entered.  To quote Dr. Seuss, "Think left and think right and think low and think high.  Oh, the things you can think up if only you try!"
