Bio
My name is Kim Parrish, and I am a 1988 graduate of Slocomb High School. I am married to John Parrish. He was a Rebel, but now he is a Redtop! I have two children. Sam is a sophomore at Troy University and Emma is a senior here at Slocomb High School. I love this school. It is very important to my family, and I am very excited to be a media specialist here. After high school I attended Wallace Community College then moved on to Troy State University. I received a Bachelor's degree in elementary education. I attended the University of South Alabama and received my Master's of Education in Educational Media.
I live in Slocomb and attend First Baptist Church of Slocomb. I enjoy spending time with my family, boating, and supporting the Redtops! I don't just come to Slocomb to work, this is my life. I love that I can get to know my students and their parents outside of school. If I'm not at home, chances are I'm at a Redtop ballgame. Go Big Red!
