Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Angie Olguin

I am a veteran teacher with more than 20 years teaching experience, most of it being in the Wiregrass Region, and most recently in Houston County. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree from Troy University in Troy, Alabama, and my Master's degree from Troy University in Dothan. Go Trojans!

I have taught many different science classes during my 20+ years as a science teacher, including chemistry, physics, and anatomy. Here at Slocomb High School, I am excited to be teaching both Earth Science and Biology.

I have 5 young adult children, three of whom are still in college. Sadly, none of them wanted to become a science teacher! :)

When not spending time with our children (which is one of our favorite things to do), my husband and I enjoy traveling, relaxing with a good book, or hanging out with friends. We also enjoy binge watching a good television series, and we are active in our church.

It is my privilege to join the Slocomb High School family. I am ready to become a part of this Geneva County Community. Let's Go RedTops!!!
