I graduated from The University of Alabama where I was apart of the Multiple Abilities Program. Through this program I received my bachelors and masters degree in Special Education. I currently hold certifications in the areas of: Collaborative Teacher (K-6), Special Education (K-6), General Education (K-6), and Early Childhood (P-3).

Hello and Welcome!
My name is Lauren Powell. I am happily married and my husband and I have one fur baby named Nilla. This is my fourth year teaching Special Education at Samson Elementary and I absolutely love it! I grew up in Miami, Florida and currently live in Daleville, AL. On my off days I enjoy crafting, shopping, and taking Nilla on hikes. I love the small town feel of the community that surrounds me. I am so excited about starting a new school year! I am ready to work hard and help my students learn and grow. GO TIGERS!
