Mr. Ray Hackett

I am entering my 13th year as an educator.  I grew up in Mobile, AL and graduated from Theodore High School in 1997.  I attended Troy University from 1997-2001.  After graduation, I worked with the Adult Special Populations program at the YMCA of Metropolitan Mobile. In 2003 I decided to further my education and returned to Troy University where I recieved a Master's degree in Social Science Education.  I returned to Mobile to begin my educational career at Theodore High School. I worked at Theodore for 9 years teaching Modern World History and Journalism: Yearbook.  I coached Varsity Football, Softball, and Track. In 2015 I moved to Saraland High for one year before returning to Theodore for two more years.    My family and I moved to Geneva County this past summer.  My wife Scarlett is the athletic training for Geneva County, my two boys Grayson (1st grade) and Will (pre-K) attend GCES, and my twin girls Elizabeth (3) and Sloan (3) attend Happy Hearts Day Care in Hartford.  I am very excited about starting this year as a Geneva County Bull Dog.  I am currently teaching Modern World History for 9th grade and American History Beginnings for 10th grade and will be coaching Varsity Football and Softball.
