I am Susan Harrell and I am starting my twenty second year teaching students with special needs. I taught one year at Haleyville Elementary School and nineteen years at Tanner High School before coming to Geneva County Elementary School (GCES). I am blessed beyond measures to be working with such a wonderful group of people here at GCES.
I graduated from Carroll High School in Ozark and moved back into the area a little over a year ago. I am married to my best friend, Lee Harrell who is a computer programmer at Ft. Rucker. We love camping, fishing, riding our horses, and spending time together. We have three horses, two dogs, and an amazon grey parrot. When I have time, I cross stitch, machine embroidery, and do stain glass.
