Experience

This is my 24th year teaching.  I have been teaching in Geneva County School System for 14 years.  I am currently the Reading Specialist at Samson Elementary School.

Bio

My name is Monica Blackmon.  I was born and raised in Enterprise and now live with my husband and two daughters in New Brockton.  In 1997 I graduated from Troy State Dothan with a degree in Elementary Education and have a Masters of Curriculum and Instruction from Grand Canyon University. This will be my 24th year teaching.  In my spare time I enjoy being with my family at the lake on the boat, Alabama Football, and camping. I am so excited to be a part of the Samson Elementary School family.  This is going to be a great year! Please email me if you have any questions.
