Welcome Note from Principal Averett

Dear Parents and Students,

On behalf of our entire staff, I would like to welcome you to another exciting year at Samson Elementary School! Our mission of Geneva County Schools in partnership with families and the community, is to educate all students for success in a diverse world. SES believes these goals can be met with teamwork. Please continue to support our school through our Parent Teacher Organization and take advantage of the numerous opportunities to stay involved in your child's education. This includes volunteering, reading with your child and helping with assigned homework, attending parent meetings and conferences, participating in school functions, stressing the importance and value of education within your home; but most importantly, making certain your child attends school on a daily basis.

With this mindset, I would like to stress my belief that ALL students can learn. My personal goal for the 2018/2019 school term is to continue to excel and have the opportunity to share the recognition as one of the top elementary schools in our county as well as the state level with the greatest teachers, students and parents on earth! After receiving the exciting news from our state tests scores, we are well on our way to becoming the best of the county! At Samson Elementary, we are SAMSON STRONG~ Striving To Reach Our Next Goal!!

I want to thank you in advance for your commitment and dedication to SES. I am so excited about what this new year will entail! If you need to reach me, my door is always open. Feel free to visit, or call to make an appointment to discuss any concerns, suggestions or ideas to help make this the best year yet! GO TIGERS!!!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Rena' Averett, Principal
