Biography

I am honored and excited to serve as the guidance counselor at Slocomb High School. Though I am not originally from this area, Slocomb has quickly become my home away from home. I am originally from Robertsdale, Alabama where I took my first English job directly after college. In 2008, I relocated to Bonifay, Florida and married my husband, Jeremy.  His military career, my busy counselor gig, and three awesome kids keep us active.  When we do find time off, we are likely on the water or at the beach. After thirteen years of teaching English, I am truly enjoying being the school counselor and find my work most fulfilling. Though I never feel that my job is done, it does feel as if I have found my calling outside of the classroom.
