Biography: 

      My name is Felicia Johnson.  I am so excited about our school year here at Samson Elementary School!

      My husband’s job brought us to this area.  We moved from Florida, where we lived for 5 years.  Before living in Florida, we lived in Arkansas.  We have three children: Kari, Aaron, and Alyssa.  Kari and her husband, Seth, live in Cabot, Arkansas.  Our son, Aaron, is a physical therapist.  He works for an outpatient clinic in Dothan.  Our daughter, Alyssa, is a student here at Samson Elementary.   

     I graduated with a B.S.E. in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, AR.  I taught Special Education in Arkansas for thirteen years.  I taught 2^nd, 3^rd, and 4^th grade in Florida for five years.  I have taught in Alabama since the fall of 2011.  I can’t imagine doing anything else.  I love to see students become life-long learners.

    In my spare time, I enjoy music, spending time with my family, and spending time at the beach.
