BIO

I am happy and blessed to be part of the faculty and staff of Geneva County Middle/High School. I am remain excited about being a Geneva County Bulldog. This is my twenty-seventh year in education, and my ninth year as a Library Media Specialist.

I have been married to my husband William for thirty-five years, and we have wonderful grown children who are pursuing their dreams and chosen careers in education as well; a son and daughter-in-law in Auburn, Alabama, and a daughter and son-in-law in Mobile, Alabama.

In my free time, I enjoy visiting my children, spending time with my family, RVing (camping), tailgating at Troy football games, and I try my hand at a little crafting.

It is my goal as the Library Media Specialist to create and maintain a welcoming and exciting library environment, and to ensure that students have access to library materials that promote an appreciation for reading and information literacy.
