BIO

I am happy and blessed to be part of the faculty and staff of Geneva County Middle/High School. I am excited to be entering my seventh year of being a Geneva County Bulldog. This is my twenty-fifth year in education, and my seventh year as a Library Media Specialist.

I have been married to my husband William for thirty-three years, and we have two wonderful grown children who are pursuing their dreams and chosen careers in education as well; a son and daughter-in-law in Stevenville, Texas, and a daughter and son-in-law in Mobile, Alabama.

In my free time, I enjoy visiting my children, spending time with my family, RVing (camping), crafting, and trying to train our new fur baby Luca.

It is my goal as the Library Media Specialist to create and maintain a welcoming and exciting library environment, and to ensure that students have access to library materials that promote an appreciation for reading and information literacy.
