Biography: 

Hi!  I'm Gina Baxley!  I have been teaching second grade at Slocomb Elementary School since 2004.  Prior to teaching second grade, I taught fifth grade at Ashford Academy for two years.  I have a son who is a Slocomb High alumnus, as well as a University of Alabama graduate.  He is currently the Collections Manager at The Vulcan Park and Museum in Birmingham, Alabama.   I also have a daughter with Autism, who graduated from Northview High School.  She is wholeheartedly dedicated to the Special Olympics.  My husband is originally from this area, and we met while he was in the Marine Corps.  

I graduated from The Ohio State University, and I am proud to be a Buckeye!
