Bio

My name is Mary T. Ward and I prefer to be called Terri.  I have been with Geneva County High School since August, 2003.  I was first hired as the ISS/Alternative teacher, and I stayed in this position about 10 years straight. Currently, I am an Access Facilitator for grades 6-12. Not only do I have access classes, but I have had enrichment classes for Middle School. I have been in this position since 2013 and plan to retire in August 2028.  I really love what I do and enjoy having students in my classroom.

In 2019, I was the Facilitator of the Year for Access.  This was a great honor to receive!

I married when I was 26 to the love of my life, Gary Ward.  He is now a retired truckdriver and has his own DJ business (Crazy's DJ Xpress) which we both thoroughly enjoy doing in our spare time. We have just recently added our third system.  Our daughter Katie was born in March 1992 and a son, Cary, in August 1994.  I am a grandmother to three of the most adorable boys, Ryan and Layne and Morgan and my granddaughter, Jessilyn Charlotte.   We live in Samson, Alabama, but I consider myself a GECO High Bulldawg!

GO DAWGS!!!!
