Bio
Hi! My name is Stephanie Calhoun, and I am so excited about beginning another year! For the last three years, I was the Math Interventionist and that was a life-changing experience for sure. Working with students who needed that "extra little push" in math really opened my eyes to the many needs all students have and the many different ways to reach everyone so that all are successful. Now I have been given the opportunity to teach math again in third grade, and I couldn't be happier. Together we can accomplish great things! Thank you in advance for any support you can give to your child throughout this school year- parents that are involved in their child's education really do have a lasting impact on future school success. Please do not hesitate to contact me through Remind if you have any questions or concerns.
I am married to Terry, and we have two daughters. Emily is a Sophmore at Wallace & Addison is a Junior at GCHS. They are two of my greatest blessings and spending time with them is something I always look forward to. Along with teaching, I am also the Head Volleyball Coach for both the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams. That keeps me super busy as well, but being on the court is my happy place as I was a volleyball player for many years. Go Bulldogs!
